Dr. Marie Buschschulte and Dr. Kristen Cuperus bring a wide range of experiences and talents to Prairie Skies. Both have a passion for providing high quality care to Large and Small Animal Patients.

Our passionate team at Prairie Skies Veterinary Services is committed to delivering exceptional veterinary services with a focus on preventive care and client education. We strive to build lasting relationships with both our patients and their owners.
Dr. Marie Buschschulte
Dr. Marie is a 2011 graduate of St. George's University. She is a native of Southern Ilinois, growing up on a beef and grain operation. She has spent most of her veterinary career in Minnesota, as a mixed animal practitioner. She enjoys the variety that mixed animal practice provides, but has a special interest in production medicine and small animal surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys time spent with her husband, Mike, and three kids.
Hobbies include: Running, photography, flower gardening,child chauffeur and anything outdoors.
Pets: 2 dogs, Reed & Jules and a spoiled clan of farm cats.
Currently Licensed in Minnesota & Illinois.
Dr. Kristen Cuperus
Dr. Kristen Cuperus graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017. Following graduation she worked in a large animal practice in South Dakota for 2 years, then worked in a mixed animal clinic in northeast Iowa for 5.5 years. She grew up near Fulda on the family farm where her parents/siblings continue to farm. She especially enjoys working with cattle feedlots, any type of surgery, and equine preventative care. Dr. Kristen and her husband, Sam, reside near Tracy with their 2 children. They also have 2 cats (Kevin & Bane) and 2 dogs (a great dane named Walker and a cane corso mix named Lincoln). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and travelling.
Currently Licensed in Minnesota & Iowa.
